Method

• Who might be the best (or worst!) speaker on the course will not be discussed. Delegates will be encouraged to improve their own performances. There will be no losers - only winners.
  
  
• Each participant will have at least four opportunities to give a prepared talk to the whole group and, through group discussion, we will build on strengths and iron out weaknesses.
  
  
• The workshop will be intensive, participative, and practical, rather than theoretical. Each speaker's talk will be video-taped and the rest of the workshop members, with the guidance of the workshop leader, will assess and advise. The aim is to encourage and build on personal style. The involvement of all participants in the firm but constructive and sensitive criticism of each speaker ensures a stimulating and action-packed day.
